The Denture StudiosWe have three qualified Clinical Dental Technicians and a qualified dentist working between our Denture Studios and we have over 20 years experience in manufacturing dentures. We can make dentures direct to patients which ensures that patients are consulted throughout the manufacturing process and guarantees complete satisfaction with their new dentures made. What is a Clinical Dental Technician?A Clinical Dental Technician is an experienced Dental Technician who has graduated at George Brown College, Canada and The Royal College of Surgeons, England to manufacture and fit removable dental appliances directly to patients. They also hold a Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology, is registered with the General Dental Council as a Dental Technician and CDT and has the appropriate insurance to work with patients. A Clinical Dental Technician can work independently of other members of the dental team. They will see the patient directly and work closely to achieve the expectations of the patient via consultations and discussions throughout the manufacture of the appliance. Any concerns can be conveyed and resolved before the final process to ensure that each patient is completely satisfied with their final appliance. Clinical Dental Technicians can also help with existing removable appliances. They can carry out denture repairs, relines and make adjustments. A Clinical Dental Technician is registered with the General Dental Council and is therefore required to comply with their strict, ethical guidance, including awareness of all regulations pertaining to the practice of dentistry.
